Dress Code

It is our desire that ARISE Summer Retreat will be a place where the students can focus their eyes and hearts on their relationship with Jesus by retreating away from their context. Our intent is to not bring attention to how one looks but to highlight our walk in faith and love in pursuit of holiness. Therefore, the students and staff are required to adhere to the Dress Code. Anyone in violation of this policy will be asked to change clothes.

  1. No tops that don’t cover the stomach, back, and shoulders: wife-beaters, crop tops, halters, tube/tank tops, sports pinneys that reveals the sides of the body etc. Keep your shirt on even if you’re playing sports.

  2. No shorts that are too short or tight so as to reveal your butt, gender-related body parts or undergarments. No pant-sagging and seeing boxers.

  3. No clothing that suggests content that is vulgar, racist, suggestive, or promoting gang violence, alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs, etc.
